MagView introduced it's first Healthcare Information System in 1982, more than 20 years ago. System Interfacing
MagView supports a variety of interfacing methodologies, including HL-7, DICOM, shared file, and proprietary interfaces. MagView supports HL-7 interfaces with most leading HIS/RIS vendors for Admit, Discharge, Transfer, order, and result messages.
Performance Benchmarking
Certain Quality Assurance Performance Criteria have been defined for each MagView application. Each new version of MagView which is released is subjected to rigorous testing to ensure that the MagView Quality Assurance Performance Criteria has been met, and maximum performance for each area of the application is maintained. Application benchmarking and testing notes are available for the latest release of MagView: Application Testing Notes - version 5.0
Thin Client Solutions
MagView is compatible with Microsoft Windows Terminal Server, and Citrix solutions. There are many users currently using these remote access solutions. If you would like to talk with MagView customers who are using Citrix or Terminal Server solutions, please contact the MagView Support Department.
Data Conversion
MagView has developed a unique toolset for the conversion of Healthcare data from industry standard data structures, as well as proprietary databases. MagView has converted data from most Healthcare Information System vendors, and can usually convert data with a back-up tape from the source system.
