Victory Breast Diagnostics and Women's
Imaging is a new facility providing
screening and diagnostic digital
mammography, breast MRI, stereotactic
and ultrasound guided biopsy, bone
densitometry, and OB and pelvic imaging
and risk assessment.
Victory performs approximately 15,000
annual procedures, and is known for
offering the only digital mammography and
breast MRI in their area.
Goals
In transitioning from their existing
information system to MagView, Victory
required a solution that could offer the

MagView provides a transition to an improved breast center
management solution for Victory Breast Diagnostics & Women's
Imaging center.
In 2006, the Victory Breast Diagnostics and Women's Imaging center was
developed by Dr. Susan Gaskill, with a vision to create a women's center with the
best imaging tools available for the fight against breast cancer. As the center was
being planned and developed, equipment was selected that would help the group
achieve their objectives.
"We looked at a lot of different products on the market," said Cheryl Parish, Chief
Operating Officer. "We needed state-of-the-art products to deliver the highest level
of service to our patients."
As the practice began to operate and grow, Victory soon discovered that they were
quickly outgrowing the information system that had been installed. "We grew so fast
that I really needed a quicker solution for the patient tracking and scheduling," states
Parish.
Soon Victory began to evaluate options for a replacement system. "By this time, we
had talked to enough facilities to know that MagView was truly the gold standard for
breast centers. We brought them in and found that they had already addressed
everything we had been looking for," says Parish.
MagView was selected as the replacement system, and asked to provide an
accelerated path for the conversion of existing data, and implementation of the full
MagView system throughout the group. "We really needed a fast track to get the
system in and the conversion done without interrupting patient care, or losing any
data," observes Parish. "Once MagView was installed, things were so much easier
and quicker. The tracking that took me a whole day can be done in less than an
hour now."
The transition from one system to another requires not only a good software
product, but also responsive, quality service. The flexibility of MagView's solutions
and 15 years experience in the market allows the implementation team to succeed
with even the most difficult conversion and implementation requirements.
"No system is perfect at the beginning," observes Dr. Gaskill. "But with MagView,
you can change the settings on the fly to make it work for you. Furthermore, when
you have a question, you get immediate attention, and a direct solution. This has
made all the difference."

breast center, focus their attention on patient care, and fulfill their vision for Victory.
